Description
This is one of two commissioned paintings of beautiful talented athlete, Avital Carroll (née Shimko), an Austrian and former American mogul skier. I was sent a number of photos to use as reference for the details of the skier for this watercolor skiing painting. The background is completely from my imagination. The photo that this painting was based on was actually a summer photo of Avi doing a practice jump wearing a halter top in the hot summer sun.
