Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
As sunset sky reflections in still mirror tide pools are bracing for the incoming tide, distant waves begin to roll toward the shore and crashing breakers collide with protruding rock formations beyond the sandy beach.
This panorama image was meticulously and carefully pieced together from my three original oil paintings in a triptych called Sea Stack Serenity, Glorious Point Of The Arches and Beyond the Shore.
The triptych work of art was commissioned by the designers for the new Spirit Center at NICoS Joint Base Lewis McChord WA. The sunset that back-lights the enormous Point Of The Arches rocky sea stacks in the center painting reaches through the paintings on both sides of this triptych that complete this Shi Shi Beach, Olympic Park view of the Pacific coast shoreline. About Hanne Lore Koehler
