Description
This is another in a series of 32 wood relief carvings used as cookie baking molds carved by my dad, Otto Werner (1923-1991). These hand-carved cookie molds with inlaid metal cookie cutters are used for forming the dough for gingerbread cookies, spekulatius cookies, springerle, cookies and Aachener Printen. Most of the original carvings have been purchased by a collector in New Zealand; however, you can purchase art prints, canvas prints, posters here for your kitchen decor and commercial bakery wall art design.

I marvel at the fine work and detail in each cookie cutter mold. Otto had a wonderful gift. I can only imagine how much it was to have cookies made from these - The art prints are so elegant! L/F/T/G/SU/P

Each of these is lovelier than the last. I imagine shortbread cookies at your house must have been like story time...each of these has its own story to tell. F/L T
