Description
This is my cover illustration for a children's book called Rescue Pup by Canadian author, Jean Little published by Orca Books. Jean Little is a blind author who has written stories for children about service dogs. This is a touching story about a rescue pup who begins his training in a foster home for children and how he becomes friends and melts the heart of a young girl who is angry with the world. In this illustration, he cannot fit through the open crack of door but he is persistent, howling until he is allowed to enter and snuggle with his new friend.
