Description
Cambridge, Ontario is a quaint little city with a small-town atmosphere, lots of hiking trails, kayaking, canoeing, fishing - much slower pace than Toronto which is about an hour away.
I painted this early summer morning scene of The Grand River as it winds through the center of Cambridge just as it appeared in my photo reference. The river is flanked by old architecture, parkland trails and Mill Race Park. These arches of Main street bridge and this quaint community have been featured in many Hollywood movies and TV shows. Love spotting Cambridge buildings and scenes in Murdock Mysteries!
