Description
Bobbi was a little sweetheart - gentle, kind, loving, cuddly - definitely cherished by his owner. This watercolor painting was commissioned by the daughter of Bobbi's owner as a Mother's Day gift for her mom. Although she had the option to have me paint Bobbi with normal brown eyes, since Bobbi was blind for most of his life, she chose to have him painted as he was since he was loved with all his flaws.

Hanne I love your dog series so very much, but this one holds a very special place in my heart. My first Cocker Spaniel had gone blind.. I felt bad for him even though he had no trouble finding his way around the house and yard. It was it great joy to play fetch with the ball and he could no longer do that.. He got old and down in hips so bad and I knew he was in pain and we finally had him put to sleep.. I do have one of his sons that is marked and colored almost exactly like him.. Uno will always be loved and missed. he was my best friend and constant companion.. Little Bear is also very much loved now and I know I will be heart broken once again when I loose him.. Cockers will always hold a very special place for me. Love this wonderful work!! Fantastic job as always!! love and pin!! :D

What a sweetheart!! Bobby looks like a Cocker Spanial to me. I have three and I love them all so much! Full of love and energy! :D My oldest male has been blind for a few years now. I miss throwing the ball for him as that was what he loved most of all. But he does get around good. I know how much they much miss their precious friend and family member. Wonderful work! v.f
