Description
This wooden baking mold was hand-carved by my dad, Otto Werner (1923 - 1991). This relief carving of a 17th century Lady is surrounded by an in-laid strip of metal which is designed to be a cutting tool for easy cutting of the cookie dough. Add a classical touch to your country kitchen or create warmth in your contemporary space with art prints of this original one-of-a-kind carving of a gingerbread woman. An art print or canvas print of this carving would add wonderful ambiance to your commercial bakery, deli or Cafe.
Hand-carved wood baking molds such as this, also called spekulatius molds, springerle cookie molds, Oecher Prente Form and Aachener Printen Formen, cookie cutters are used to shape large gingerbread cookies, Aachener Printen, Oecher Prente and springerle cookies.
